PRE TOUR:

If arriving before your tour start date, you will need to stay on the main Airport island of Malé to be able to join us with ease for check-in on Day 1 of tour (Saturday).

The Airport Island of Hulhumale is an artificial island located within close proximity to the capital city of Malé and connected by a bridge. If flying in early we can recommend staying at the Rivethi Beach Hotel which is approximately a 10 minute drive from the airport. The hotel includes a free pick-up/drop-off which is super handy.

Please note: Malé is predominantly a residential island which consists of staff from the airport and surrounding islands, but there are a number of shops, restaurants and a fruit market that are located around the town centre. 

If flying in early we recommend only staying one night as there is not much to do here and most people will use it for a base to get out and explore the real Maldives!

You will not need to book a night here post tour as our team will organise airport transfers directly from Maafushi at the conclusion of the week.

POST TOUR:

If you would like to stay on a few extra days and your budget is not an issue, we recommend Adaaran Huduranfushi. This is only short boat ride from Malé International Airport however the transfers are usually quite expensive, which sets the tone for this style of resort.

​

Rooms range from Beachfront Villas to Overwater Bungalows. There are three restaurants, a number of bars and activities. There is also the world famous Lohi's surf break on the south side of the island. Important to note that the atmosphere in the resorts is completely different to being in a fun and exiting group environment with likeminded people, but if you want to experience the life of the rich and famous for a few nights, this is how it's done!
